“Absolution” in Every Day Fiction

“I’m the one who launched the strikes. I’m the one who killed thirty million people.”  “Absolution” is out today, my fourth story for Every Day Fiction.

“Absolution” is also an indirect prequel to my Perpetual Empire stories.  (I say “indirect” because it doesn’t involve the same storylines, but it does help to explain the context in which the Empire arose.)  It is set after “Enclaves” (STORGY) and prior to the events of “Agents of Empire” (Aurealis), “Breaking the Machine” (Liquid Imagination), and “A Small Price to Pay” (Planet Scumm/Starship Sofa).
